Event Details

Seasonal class on foraging led by Kadedra Holmes of EAT FRESH VEGGIES. Follow Kadedra and her business on social media @eatfreshveggies.

This class includes a hike/walk around Living Wright Foundation’s Community Farm at Senate’s End exploring wild-growing herbs, fruits, trees, and other edible foods. Tickets include:

  • hands on exploration of selected wild-grown foods
  • proper foraging techniques used to collect wild-grown foods
  • basics to identify look-alike plants
  • basic medicinal benefits to selected wild-grown foods

Guests should bring a notebook and pen as well as dress for walking in wooded areas (close-toed shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, hats, etc.).
