Companion planting practices combining species in close proximity for pest control, pollination, creating habitat for beneficial insects, maximizing space, and increasing crop productivity. By choosing native species of fruiting and flowering shrubs, herbs, grasses, bulbs, and trees, you can maximize annual blooms and sink carbon to filter the air, soil, and water. This tutorial will match florals, herbs, and leafy greens in a planter which attendees can take home.

Please make sure to wear clothing suitable for the outdoors, as well as sun screen and bug spray, and don’t forget your pen and notebook.
